Supermarket chain Aldi has recalled a number of garden furniture products due to concerns over fire safety.
Aldi has been notified by their supplier that the cushion covers’ fire-retardant effectiveness may deteriorate over time, presenting an increased risk of fire.
A notice from Aldi said: “The product has been recalled from end users and replacement cushion covers provided. This recall is for customers who have purchased the above garden furniture products between 13th February 2022 and 20th April 2022 only.”
Products under the recall include cushion covers for multiple furniture units such as stools, benches, sofa sets and hanging chairs.
