Tomasz Siekacz, CEO at Agmamito, talks about potential challenges and future plans in the furniture industry.

Agmamito, a Polish supplier for upholstery fabrics, has been a family business since 1988. Well-known on the European market, it is expanding its activities to other export regions.
One of the most frequently asked questions on the market is, what does the future hold? “As a representative of a company responsible for supplying the most visual component of furniture, namely fabric, I am optimistic,” Tomasz said.
“The industry currently needs some additional measures in the form of a revival of consumption, and this applies to absolutely all areas. Certainly, recent years have accustomed us to a higher supply than is currently the case, but that is what a healthy economy is all about.”
This year was a great time to make decisions about the further development of Agmamito, with one of these decisions was to enlarge its storage space with an additional building. Tomasz continued: “This is dictated by our plans to expand into other export markets. Another interesting development is the official opening of our new office, followed by a warehouse in China. All this investment is to provide the best possible customer service.



“Moreover, we’re adding 11 brand new collections to our offer, which we can confidently consider as a success for the entire team. We believe that by expanding our fabric portfolio, we will reach more customers, even the most demanding ones.”
One of the changing trends in the furniture industry is certainly the way in which products are positioned. In the Agmamito business, where fabrics need to be felt and imagined on furniture, face-to-face meetings with customers are still essential.
“International trade fairs play an important role, where we can present the latest trends in fabrics,” adds Tomasz. “The best opportunity for this will be the upcoming Heimtextil trade fair in Frankfurt in the first half of January 2026 and the Meble Polska trade fair at the end of February. These trade fairs are becoming increasingly noticeable on the European stage for the entire furniture industry.
“We eagerly await the new year and what it will bring to the industry. One thing is certain: Agmamito, as an experienced and trusted fabric supplier for 37 years, will continue to offer fabrics for every consumer segment, from designers and HoReCa suppliers to furniture producers.”
