Birlea kicked off 2026 with a successful appearance at the January Furniture Show, held at the NEC, Birmingham.
Showcasing a strong mix of latest launches and proven favourites, Birlea presented its new premium beds – Girona, Amalfi, Como, and Milan – alongside brand-new bedroom and dining ranges, as well as its best-selling collections. The stand attracted strong footfall throughout the show, with the new launches receiving highly positive feedback from retailers and industry professionals alike.
Chris Moore, Commercial Director at Birlea, said: “The January Furniture Show is always a key event for us, and it was great to start the year with such a positive response. The feedback on our new premium beds and furniture ranges has been extremely encouraging and reinforces our focus on quality, design and commercial relevance for our retail partners.”
The show also provided an opportunity for Birlea to demonstrate how its evolving product portfolio continues to meet the needs of today’s consumers, with the introduction of more diverse, design-led and high-quality pieces across multiple categories.
In addition, the event enabled meaningful conversations with retailers and industry peers, helping Birlea gain valuable insight into market trends, consumer behaviour, and challenges facing the sector.

Chris Moore added: “Events like this are invaluable for strengthening relationships and understanding how we can continue to support our customers. Speaking directly with retailers allows us to ensure our ranges remain relevant, commercially viable and aligned with what consumers are really looking for.”
SleepSoul, part of the Birlea family, also exhibited their high street exclusive mattress range. The Thea, Juno, Aries and Cosmic mattresses have been developed to cater for a wide range of sleep preferences, while helping retailers drive repeat sales and improve in-store performance.

Offering high street exclusive mattresses gives retailers a clear competitive advantage, allowing them to incorporate their own branding and protect margins by encouraging in-store conversions. As these mattresses are not available online, retailers can trade with confidence, free from direct price comparison.
Looking ahead in 2026, Birlea is set to unveil further new ranges, continuing to strengthen and diversify its offering.
Chris Moore concluded: “It’s an exciting time for Birlea and SleepSoul. We have a strong pipeline of new products planned for the year ahead, and we remain committed to delivering well-designed, high-quality ranges that support our customers’ growth.”
