Autumn Long Point 2025: Innovation, Craftsmanship, and Community in Long Eaton

The Autumn edition of Long Point 2025 brought together 33 exhibitors across showrooms throughout Long Eaton, welcoming in excess of 100 trade buyers and interior designers from across the UK and further afield.

Running from Monday 15 – Wednesday 17 September, with many exhibitors also opening by appointment on Thursday 18th, the event once again highlighted Long Eaton’s role as the UK Centre of Quality Upholstery. Over three days, buyers, designers, and industry professionals were treated to an inspiring showcase of British upholstery, cabinet furniture, accessories, fabrics, and international brands – all presented within the unique mill showrooms and venues that define Long Point.

Exhibitor Highlights

Stella made a bold entrance, launching the Stella Collection at the Westgate Suites alongside Bluebone. Standout pieces included the Jack and Alezio, both of which drew strong attention for their style and versatility.

Couch & Co unveiled a brand new collection that won “a tremendous amount of incredibly positive feedback,” with customers praising comfort, quality, and price – the core values of the brand. Their Masie model was a clear star, with its eight-way hand-tied base and luxurious feather-wrapped comfort, while an extension to the popular Millie range was also warmly received.

At The Helm showcased a selection of customer favourites in their new 2025 materials, including UK Stock models Avery, Kensington, Savannah, and Verona. In addition, they introduced exciting new model launches across the At The Helm and Hydeline collections, which generated strong interest during the exhibition and are scheduled to be available on shop floors in Spring 2026.

The newly introduced models – presented in a mix of both existing and new leathers and fabrics – were extremely well received, further boosting confidence in their upcoming release. The UK Stock programme for their Cabinet and Lighting ranges also received particularly positive feedback and is scheduled to go live at the end of September.

A key highlight of the exhibition occurred on Tuesday, when At The Helm hosted a TrendBible talk, offering valuable consumer insights on the theme ‘Redefining the Home’. This well-attended session explored how shifting consumer values are reshaping lifestyle-driven design, providing valuable insights for brands and buyers alike. This was followed by a hosted lunch with the Piaggio pizza van, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere for networking and customer interaction.

Tetrad, Spink & Edgar, and Westbridge showcased at the Village Hotel, where new products and fabrics were met with enthusiasm from trade buyers.

Iain James Furniture exhibited from their Bridge Street showroom, which they share with sister company and fellow Guild member Artistic Upholstery. The team introduced a striking new Burr Oak media unit, highlighting their ongoing craftsmanship in bespoke finishes and tailored sizes.

Gascoigne Designs reported strong engagement from high-end retailers, with encouraging investment in quality floor stock despite challenging trading conditions. Visitors praised the brand’s commitment to quality, with positive feedback highlighting minimal service issues and the proven longevity of both products and fabrics. Their latest launch, the Central Park sofa, drew particular attention and was very well received.

Hartmann captivated visitors with their Kilva range, inspired by Scandinavian craft traditions and the “cleaving power of the axe.” Split oak shingles, anthracite ash, and warm lighting combined to create a sense of warmth and security in the home. The team also welcomed a number of quality visitors to the showroom – interest that they hope will translate into new business later this year.

Violino presented a flexible corner group sofa with power recliners and ratchet headrests – balancing sleek styling with everyday practicality.

WEBS Training continued their vital role in championing apprenticeships and skills, with Samarah Dawson, Business Development Manager, engaging visitors at the Harrington Mills reception hub. The team reflected: “It’s always wonderful to be part of such an important local event for furniture. We value the opportunity to help people find out more about apprenticeships, stay up to date with the industry, and of course, see all the wonderful furniture being showcased. Raising the profile of both the furniture industry and apprenticeships remains at the heart of what we do.”

Siren welcomed visitors with new collections and a warm hospitality offer of coffee, cake, and fizz, while David Gundry Fine Furniture showcased bespoke occasional chairs and stools that underline their commitment to tailoring detail and style.

G Plan reported their “best time” at Long Point, celebrating the reception of their new launches and reconnecting with both longstanding and new customers.

Buoyant Upholstery returned with stylish new models, fabrics, and colourways. The Caspian collection, featuring DuoFlex® seats and feather bolsters, proved popular, while the Viscount Mix and Ziggy Mix demonstrated the appeal of combining fabric and faux leather with sumptuous Featherflex® seating.
