Bed manufacturer Highgrove Beds has reported a growth in sales as turnover edged past £30m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales rose 6.2% to £30.7m from £28.9m in 2023.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.7m, slightly down from £2.1m recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The director is satisfied with the overall progress and performance of the company for the financial year. Highgrove Beds has maintained a steady growth trajectory despite global supply chain disruptions and challenges posed by the geopolitical landscape.
“Our strong market presence in the UK’s bed manufacturing sector has enabled us to remain resilient and continue meeting customer demand.
We have witnessed significant improvements in production efficiency and operational capabilities. Investments in infrastructure, automation, and quality management systems have contributed to enhanced productivity.
“Product “passport” developed by the production manager and IT team has greatly enhanced visibility. The company remains committed to ensuring high-quality products and excellent customer service, reinforcing its brand value in the competitive market.”
