Bensons for Beds launches UK’s first ‘Sleep Forecast’

National bed retailer Bensons for Beds has announced the launch of the UK’s first-ever Sleep Forecast , a digital tool designed to give Brits a nightly snapshot of factors affecting their sleep.

The launch marks the first campaign from PrettyGreen since being appointed Bensons for Beds’ retained agency in December 2025, signalling a new era of insight-led, digitally driven brand  building for the retailer.

The Sleep Forecast is built around a simple cultural truth: in Britain, people are more likely to talk about how they slept last night than what the weather is doing outside. By tapping into that everyday conversation, the tool translates complex data and sleep science into something practical, personal and easy to use.

PrettyGreen is a UK-based marketing and communications agency known for blending creativity with consumer insight. Fresh off an award-winning 2025, which included its widely praised campaign announcing Mummy Pig’s pregnancy for Peppa Pig, the agency is bringing its proven creativity and strategic approach to Bensons for Beds.

Mark Slater, Chief Commercial Officer at Bensons for Beds, said: “Sleep is our obsession at Bensons for Beds, because it affects how we feel and function every day. We all know that familiar morning chat about how we slept, and the Sleep Forecast brings that to life in a really practical way.

“We partnered with PrettyGreen because they got that insight straight away and showed how to turn it into something genuinely useful. It’s a great example of how we want to show up as a brand – expert, relevant and focused on helping people sleep better.”

Sarah Henderson, Managing Director at PrettyGreen, said: “We wanted to create something that wasn’t just clever, but genuinely useful for people. By combining data, real-life insight, and expert guidance, the Sleep Forecast gives Brits a tool to understand and improve their sleep, and it’s been exciting to bring this to life with a brand that is so clearly committed to sleep expertise.”

The Sleep Forecast responds to growing consumer demand, research from Bensons for Beds reveals 57% of UK adults regularly struggle to sleep, with over half waking still tired, and 84% aiming to improve their sleep in 2026.

How it works:

  • Users enter their city and personal sleep habits.
  • The platform merges this with live factors such as weather, traffic-related pollution, and the news agenda.
  • Each factor is scored for positive or negative impact, and users receive expert-backed guidance and tailored tips.

Supported by sleep expert James Wilson (The Sleep Geek), the campaign blends research, digital innovation and expert guidance to help users better understand what’s affecting their rest – and what they can do about it.
