Cófra launches Orna Bedroom Collection at INDX 2026. We found out more.
Following a successful return to INDX January 2026, Cófra marked a significant milestone by unveiling an all-new bedroom collection in a final phase of show preparation. The launch represented a natural and strategic expansion of the brand’s offering, reinforcing Cófra’s understanding of the evolving needs of the retail market.
While Cófra has become widely recognised for its expertise in cleverly engineered dining tables, the decision to introduce bedroom furniture was driven by consistent demand from retail partners. The category remains a key focus for the UK market, offering strong commercial opportunity and longevity within showroom settings.
Reflecting on the launch, Managing Director Christina Byrne comments: “We have always recognised that the retail market has a strong appetite for bedroom furniture, and it is a real testament to our manufacturing partners that we were able to develop and launch a complete collection in time for INDX.”
The newly introduced Orna bedroom collection reflects Cófra’s core design principles while extending them into a new category. Its name, rooted in Scandinavian simplicity, is echoed throughout the collection’s clean, understated aesthetic. Softly curved edges, minimalist drawer fronts and balanced proportions create a calm and inviting presence, aligning seamlessly with Cófra’s organic and design-led nature.

The Orna collection has been deliberately streamlined to reflect the needs of the modern bedroom, focusing on the key pieces most in demand by today’s retailers and consumers. The range comprises bedsides, beds and chests, offering a cohesive yet flexible selection for showroom presentation. Orna beds are available in both double and king sizes and feature a lower-profile headboard inspired by European design sensibilities. A simple CNC detail adds subtle interest while maintaining the collection’s clean, understated aesthetic. Storage is addressed through a considered selection of chests, including a classic three-drawer chest, a slim four-drawer tallboy and a generously proportioned six-drawer chest. The latter is cleverly designed to appear as a three-drawer unit, with three seamless drawer fronts creating a calm, uncluttered look that reinforces Orna’s minimalist appeal.
Material choice plays a central role in defining Orna’s character. The warm richness of hazel-toned oak brings depth and tactility, while carefully considered detailing elevates the collection beyond the purely functional. Each piece is completed with a refined brass knob, creating a subtle contrast between natural material and striking gold detail—positioning Orna as a standout bedroom collection for 2026.
The collection was well received by retailers, contributing to a positive and productive show for the brand. The successful launch of Orna, alongside Cófra’s broader INDX presentation, reinforced the company’s growing presence within the UK market and highlighted the strength of its design-led, commercially focused approach.
Closing the show, Christina Byrne adds: “INDX continues to be an invaluable platform for us, and the response this year has been extremely encouraging.”
