Your primary goal is to enhance sales performance and techniques. To achieve this, you must develop and deliver comprehensive training plans, conduct engaging training sessions, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and collaborate with the Management and Directors to align training with company goals.
This critical role ensures that our sales teams stay up to date on products and effective selling strategies.
You will be expected to deliver individually targeted training initiatives, using observations, live coaching and a robust feed back process. To assist each member of the sales team to reach and exceed individual and store targets. Progress against targets will be monitored against Sales Manager Dashboard.
You will need to have a deep understanding of the Cookes sales process and be able to demonstrate mastery of the Cookes CRM system. Ensuring it is used consistently and effectively by the team to drive conversion rates, building customer loyalty and complementing Cookes other marketing activities.
A full understanding of the CRM reporting platform is required to manage individual use of the system and its effectiveness. Delivering increased conversion and analysing drop off rates, while tailoring this to individual training needs.
You will need to conduct 1-2-1’s, providing constructive feedback to team members, identify skill gaps, areas for improvement and strategies to overcome obstacles and challenges. Whilst also analysing sales performance KPIs to pinpoint weaknesses and opportunities for growth.
To lead sales training, creating comprehensive training plans for new starters, as well as ongoing training for experienced sales staff. Developing training programs that cater to different learning styles and needs through the use of the Monday.com platform.
You will need extensive Product knowledge to develop training and stay updated on product features and benefits.

These KPI’s will be reviewed annually at a sales forecasting meeting, prior to the start of each new financial year.
To ensure that the Sales Management Platform is used daily to follow all standards.
To have complete focus on store tracker ensuring that targets are met each month, quarter and the final year-end target is achieved.
Identify areas of potential growth, coaching the teams to exceed targets through the analysis of individual performance KPI’s.
To collate reports and implement action plans.
To maximise gross profit on every sales order.
Non-negotiable standards throughout the store are reached and always maintained.
To ensure customer loyalty and maintain the highest customer service levels.
Ensure the team are giving informative advice and guidance on product selection to customers through Discovery.
Encourage the team to enhance sales through add on’s and up selling, increasing the A.O.V throughout.
Work with all teams on their Leads and Deals from the CRM to maximise sales.
To ensure the highest possible level of conversion, through active lead management and a thorough follow up process.
Identifying training needs and ensuring the continued development of the teams digital skills.
To regularly hold training sessions individually and collectively for the Teams on sales processes and products.
Liaising with all other departments with sales related issues.
To ensure all Health and Safety matters and general checks are carried out through the store.
Responsible for security within the store and being alert / aware of daily surroundings
To ensure where applicable (Key Holders) that the store is opened and closed in line with current business hours and that all closing and opening procedures are followed in line with company policy.
