DAVIS FABRICS: Innovation, Heritage & the Future of Upholstery

As the furniture industry prepares for the January Furniture Show 2026, DAVIS FABRICS enters the new season with a sharpened focus on technical excellence, certified quality, and European textile craftsmanship.

For over 30 years, the company has shaped interiors across nearly 60 global markets, creating fabrics where beauty, durability, and responsibility work in harmony. In 2026, this vision evolves further, strengthened by new collections and industry-leading laboratory standards.

European Roots, Global Reach
Founded in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, DAVIS has grown from a local textile producer into a major international partner for the furniture industry. The company operates warehouses and branches in Poland, Spain, Italy, Romania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Ukraine, Turkey and China, ensuring seamless access to identical collections and colour lines across Europe and Asia. With over 20 million metres of fabric in stock, DAVIS guarantees fast delivery, stable supply, and dependable service – a philosophy built on global expertise supported by local trust. This international network, combined with strong knowledge of regional regulations and design trends, positions the company as a reliable supplier for manufacturers of all sizes.

Technical Strength for the UK Market
Fire safety remains one of the most important requirements for upholstery in the UK. DAVIS provides a full portfolio of Flame Retardant (FR) and CRIB 5 fabrics designed for residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors. Most FR collections are produced in-house using halogen-free chemistry, reducing ecological and health concerns linked to traditional FR treatments. All FR finishes comply with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, confirming the safety of the chemical components used. Every FR fabric undergoes rigorous testing according to BS 5852: Part 1: 1979 (Ignition Source 0 & 1) and EN 1021-1 / EN 1021-2, while dedicated CRIB 5 collections meet the strict requirements of public and contract environments.

DAVIS LAB: Certified Assurance
A cornerstone of the brand’s quality guarantee is DAVIS LAB – an accredited facility operating under ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The laboratory performs comprehensive evaluations of abrasion resistance, pilling, strength, colour fastness, and flame retardancy, ensuring consistent performance and repeatable results. For clients requiring verified technical standards, this in-house facility remains one of DAVIS’s strongest assets.

Function Meets Responsibility
DAVIS integrates advanced technologies to support safe, durable, and easy-to-maintain interiors. Easy Clean (EC) allows most stains to be removed with just water, Water Repellent (WR) limits liquid absorption while maintaining fabric softness, and rPES technology uses recycled PET yarns to reduce environmental impact. As an active supply member of the British Furniture Association (BFA), the company promotes transparency and innovation in the industry. The UK remains one of its most strategically important markets, where performance and certification standards continue to shape product development. “Our mission is to bring together certified safety, long-term performance and European design,” says Dariusz Hereda, President of the Board.

Introducing the 2026 Collections
The new season debuts collections that celebrate tactility, colour depth, and softly organic form. Developed in line with key interior trends for 2026, the fabrics respond to the growing demand for natural textures, calming neutrals, and sensory-rich surfaces. BOSCO features a multilayered structure inspired by natural surfaces, enriched with chenille for a timeless, velvety hand. PFAS-free and yarn-dyed, it embodies quiet elegance. VELA offers a gently shimmering knitted surface where matte and glossy fibres flow together like ripples on water. Presented in 23 curated shades, it combines poetic softness with everyday practicality. It also features a fluorocarbon-free water-repellent finish.
