DFS new CFO joins Board

Upholstered furniture retailer DFS has announced that its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has joined the Board.

Back in January 2026, DFS confirmed the appointment of Dominique Highfield as its new permanent CFO, who officially joined in May.

Dominique has now joined the Board as an Executive Director with immediate effect. She replaces Marie Wall who was in the role as interim CFO.

“We are delighted to welcome Dominique to the Group,” DFS said. “She is a highly accomplished Chief Financial Officer and prior to her appointment she was the Chief Financial Officer at Bloom and Wild, and previously held senior finance and operational roles at Purplebricks, Pentland and Amazon.”

Earlier this year when DFS confirmed the appointment, the retailer also thanked Marie for her service. “We would like to thank Marie Wall for her incredible support, contribution and impact throughout her time with the Group as interim CFO.

“She leaves DFS really well placed to capitalise on the opportunities we have ahead. We wish Marie every success in her future endeavours.”
