Founded in March 1998 by two friends with a shared passion for quality craftsmanship, Dura Beds began life in a modest 12,000-square-foot factory in Liversedge. What set the business apart early on was a relentless focus on detail, reliability and customer care – values that quickly earned it a loyal following. As demand grew, so did the ambition. In 2007, Dura Beds made a bold move into a purpose-built manufacturing site covering more than 125,000 square feet, marking a major milestone in its journey.
Fast-forward to today and Dura Beds employs over 165 skilled people across West Yorkshire, proudly holding its place as the UK’s second largest independent bed and mattress manufacturer. Each week, the factory hums with activity as around 4,500 mattresses and 2,500 divan beds roll off the production line, supplying retailers, hospitality providers and customers across the UK.
