Creating well-made, reliable beds at competitive prices for over twenty-five years.
Dura Beds began in 1998, when two friends leased a 12,000 sq ft facility in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, and started manufacturing mattresses with a single operative who remains with the company today. From the outset, they focused on hard work, investment in machinery, and expanding their offering in response to customer needs.
By 2001, increasing demand pushed the company into a larger 50,000 sq ft site in Heckmondwike, supported by new team members across sales, marketing, and production. Continued growth led to another major move in 2007, this time relocating to a modern 125,000 sq ft factory in Batley, where the company employed over 165 people and produced more than 1,000 mattresses and divan bases each day.
Today, Dura Beds stands as one of Yorkshire’s fastest-growing businesses, recognised in the region’s Fastest 50 list for sustained growth. Their long-standing philosophy remains unchanged: creating well-made, commercially strong products at competitive prices, solidifying their reputation as one of the UK’s fastest rising bed manufacturers.
