Homeware specialists DUSK has reported a growth in sales as revenue surpassed £150m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, total sales rose 56% to £152.2m from £97.7m in 2024.

Losses resulted at £14m, down from a profit of £5.7m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “DUSK had another record year in FY25, generating revenue of £152.2 million, an increase of 56% year on year. This follows a number of attractive years of growth, with a 2-year compound average growth rate of 108%.

“In addition, the Company closed the year with deferred revenue of £12.2 million (2024: £5.9 million) which provided continued momentum in FY26. FY25 growth was driven by a 52% increase in orders to over 950,000 with furniture now making up an increasing amount of the revenue mix. Repeat customers made up 40% of revenue highlighting the increasing customer affinity to DUSK.

“On a statutory basis, DUSK made an EBITDA loss of £13.2 million as the Company prioritised growth and made a number of necessary technology and infrastructure investments during the year which caused temporary exceptional costs.

“These costs included short-term requirements for extra warehouse storage, increased demurrage costs and high levels of warehouse inefficiency. These exceptional costs aggregated to £16.2 million.

“Adjusting for these exceptional costs, the business generated Adjusted EBITDA of £3 million, a reduction from £6.1 million in FY24 as the business prioritised growth, particularly in new categories, invested in its price and proposition and also continued to invest across the business to ensure the right foundations are in place for continued attractive growth rates.”
