Expansion, Investment & Partnership Fuels Momentum

ISM Networks Furniture Services talks about its new warehouse, a strong start to 2026, partnership success and what’s next, starting with The Spring Furniture & Bed Show.

ISM Networks Furniture Services (ISM) has announced the opening of a new warehouse and office facility in Halesowen, West Midlands, marking a key milestone in the company’s continued expansion and long-term strategy to enhance service delivery across the UK and Ireland.

A key driver behind the Halesowen expansion is the growing consumer shift towards repair and restoration over replacement. ISM has responded by investing in specialist equipment, advanced repair techniques, and skilled technicians capable of handling a wider range of furniture issues.

Services now include upholstery restoration, structural frame repairs, and refinishing work for both residential and commercial clients. “The new premises, strategically located with improved transport links, have been developed to increase operational capacity, streamline logistics, and reduce repair turnaround times,” said Ben Royall, ISM’s Regional Director of the South.

The facility includes a fully equipped warehouse capable of holding an expanded range of parts and materials, alongside a modern office environment designed to improve coordination between customer service teams, field technicians, and logistics operations.

Regional Director of the Midlands, Leigh Hadley commented: “This investment supports ISM’s core focus on delivering efficient, high-quality repair solutions across both first-year service and out-of-warranty sectors.”

James Grant, Regional Director of Scotland and mentor for ISM’s first apprentice said: “The warehouse provides a dedicated training schedule which makes a huge difference. It gives us the space to simulate real repair scenarios without the pressure of live jobs, allowing apprentices to learn at their own pace.”

ISM Head of Administration, Louise Hunter adds: “Our facility also incorporates environmentally conscious processes, supporting the industry’s move towards more sustainable practices and extended product lifecycles”.

Strong Start to 2026

Reflecting on performance so far this year, ISM reports a highly successful January Furniture Show (JFS), generating significant engagement across the industry.

“The year has started strongly for us following JFS,” Operations Director Claire Lindsay confirms. “There was a high level of interest in the Best Warranty proposition and the new ways of working we are introducing to the market”. The collaboration with LCK – World of Furniture Care – has also created strong engagement with both retailers and manufacturers looking for a high-specification solution for their customers.

This momentum highlights increasing demand for integrated aftercare solutions that combine warranty protection, repair capability, and ongoing furniture care.

Partnership Model Driving Market Interest

The partnership between Best Insurance, ISM Furniture Services and LCK continues to evolve, bringing together technology, underwriting capability, service delivery, and product innovation into a unified proposition.

At the core of this model is the Best Warranty platform, designed to offer tailored coverage, trusted protection, and a full out-of-the-box solution for retailers. ISM delivers the service element, providing nationwide repair expertise across upholstery, beds, and cabinet furniture, while LCK enhances the proposition with premium care and maintenance products aligned to manufacturer specifications.

Paul Moran, Founding Director of ISM commented: “We are extremely excited about the collaboration supporting Best Warranty and the introduction of the LCK range of care products into the UK market. This partnership allows us to bring together industry – leading service, warranty innovation, and premium aftercare solutions to create a complete proposition for both retailers and their customers.”

Kesh Thukaram, Co-Founder of Best Insurance, said: “This is a fantastic partnership that gives Best Warranty definitive and exceptional service support for its warranty offering. By working alongside ISM and LCK, we’re able to deliver a truly market-leading solution that combines technology, service excellence, and product expertise.”

LCK International Export Manager, Stefanie Oberst also commented: “We are happy with the partnership between LCK, ISM and Best Warranty and hope that it will continue for many years to come. We are confident that this cooperation will enable us to successfully develop the UK market.”

Spring Furniture & Bed Show Focus

Looking ahead to The Spring Furniture & Bed Show, organised by Minerva Furniture Group and taking place from 20th – 21st May 2026 at the Telford International Centre, ISM will once again be showcasing the Best Warranty proposition, with a clear focus on demonstrating the full customer journey.

“At Minerva, we will be promoting the Best Warranty scheme and demonstrating the end-to-end process – from point of sale through to claim resolution – supported by ISM’s service network,” the company says. “It’s about showing how a seamless and efficient claims journey can enhance both customer satisfaction and retailer confidence.”

The exhibition will also highlight the role of LCK products within the aftercare journey, reinforcing the importance of ongoing maintenance in protecting furniture investments.

ISM, Best Warranty and LCK will be exhibiting at the Spring Furniture and Bed Show in Hall 2, Stand 52, where the team will engage with existing partners while building new relationships across the retail, manufacturing, and supplier landscape.

Looking further forward, ISM’s strategic focus is clear: to position its combined offering at the forefront of the UK furniture market. “Our plans for the year are to bring the Best Warranty product, ISM Furniture Services and LCK brands to the forefront as leading solutions within the UK furniture sector,” the company states. “By continuing to develop our partnerships and invest in infrastructure, we aim to set a new benchmark for aftercare and service within the industry.”

The expansion comes at a time when the furniture sector is undergoing a shift in consumer behaviour, with increased emphasis on value retention, sustainability, and long-term product care. ISM’s investment reflects this trend, positioning the business to meet evolving expectations from both retailers and end consumers.

With the Halesowen facility now fully operational and its partnership model gaining traction, ISM Networks Furniture Services is reinforcing its position as a leading service provider, delivering a fully integrated approach to warranty, repair and furniture care.
