Floorcoverings manufacturer Belysse, formerly known as Balta, has reported a decline in third quarter sales.
According to its latest Q3 trading update, group revenues fell 10.9% to €60.6m with organic sales down by 7.2%. US sales fell 11%, while EU revenues were down 10.8%.
Commenting on the performance, the group said: “The third quarter Consolidated Group Revenue for 2025 reflects continued weak market demand in the European Residential market, slightly lower volumes compared with prior year in US’ project driven business and unfavourable exchange rate effects. Sales in the European Commercial market were stable.
“Adjusted consolidated Group EBITDA for the quarter was below Q3 2024, due to adverse USD translation and lower volumes. This was partially compensated by higher unitary margins both in the US and Europe. Fixed expenses for the quarter were below prior year levels.”
