Home furnishings retailer Dunelm has revealed plans to open a new store in Kingston this year.
It is understood that Dunelm will open the store in the site of Plush Outlet on Clarence Street, although an official opening date has not been set.
Back in April last year, Dunelm confirmed it had completed a freehold acquisition in Kingston upon Thames, a key target area of ‘white space’, which “we expect to open as a Dunelm store in FY26”.
Dunelm recently announced the reopening of its store in Yeovil, which is situated at the Quedam Shopping Centre.
The store suffered a fire back in August 2024 from a discarded cigarette that accidentally started the blaze outside the building.
The new 24,000sqft store officially reopened last month, with the business also including a new Dunelm Pausa café.
