Furniture retailer expands in Spalding

Independent furniture retailer Furniture Warehouse has expanded in Spalding after taking over a former Original Factory Shop location.

Situated in Market Place, the business has joined up its store with the Original Factory Shop location to double to retail footprint available. Alongside this, it has taken the opportunity to refurbish its store too.

Officially reopening on Saturday 21 March 2026, the expanded presence features a much larger selection of its catalogue including more Sofas, more beds, more dining sets and more accessories.

The refurbishment also enhances the shopping experience throughout with the Spalding site now one of the biggest Furniture Warehouse stores across the country.

Commenting on the expansion, the retailer said: “We’ve loved being in Spalding for the last two years. So much so, we’re delighted to share the news that we’ve taken on the premises vacated by Original Factory Shop on Market Place.

“Rather than moving a few doors down – we’ve joined the two shops together, doubling the size of our store. The good people of Spalding may remember that the two shops were once joined together when the store was occupied by Beales, and now they are back together again.”

To celebrate the reopening, the Furniture Warehouse, which trades from eight stores, has launched a Spring Sale.
