Furniture retailer grows sales beyond £30m

Furniture retailer Oak Furniture Superstore has reported a surge in sales as profitability improves.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 January 2025, total sales resulted at £30.9m, up 69% from £18.2m in 2024.

EBITDA resulted at £0.4m, improving from a loss of £5.7m, while pre-tax losses amounted to £449,000 for the period, significantly narrowing from a loss of £6.2m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, Moreham Wood Limited (MWL) – trading as Oak Furniture Superstore, said: “Following a focus in prior year on product range repositioning and a strengthening of our wider operational infrastructure, the company has delivered robust financial results in this last financial year.

“Revenue in the year totalled £30.9m, an increase of 69% on prior year revenue of £18.2m, and underpinning a significant improvement in profitability.”
