UK searches of furniture during March 2026 saw garden furniture perform well for a third straight month, while Oak Furnitureland, bedroom furniture and mattresses also showed high search volumes.
According to Google search data analysed by Big Furniture Group, two days during March 2026 saw ‘furniture’ searches record an index score of 90 or more, while a score over 80 came in at six days. The highest searched date was 22 March with a full score 100.
Google index’s its search data to 100. This means where 100 is the maximum search interest for the term selected, it is the highest value and indicates a high internet search.
The results saw related searches of specific terms that included ‘Oak Furnitureland’, up 1,700%, while ‘garden furniture’, ‘furniture village’, ‘bedroom furniture’, ‘IKEA furniture’, ‘rattan furniture’ and ‘oak furniture’ all performed strongly.
Other search terms Big Furniture Group reviewed included mattresses, bedroom furniture, dining furniture, living room furniture, sofas, carpets and flooring.
Mattresses
Mattress searches recorded two peak dates with an index score value of 90 or more. The highest searched date was 8 March with a full score of 100. However, in general, searches were up on average throughout the month, most likely due to the National Bed Month promotion. Popular related searches included ‘king size’ – up 400%, ‘emma mattress promo code’ – up 300%, ‘panda London mattress topper’ – up 200%, ‘best mattress’ – up 200%, ‘mattress online uk’ – up 170%, and ‘cheap double beds with mattress’ – up 150%. The term ‘how often should you change your mattress’ was up 90%, while ‘bed sizes uk’ rose 80%.
Bedroom furniture
Bedroom furniture searches recorded two days of peak activity with an index value over 90. The most searched date was 8 March, which scored a full 100. Popular related searches included ‘oak furnitureland’ – up 3,600%, ‘starplan bedroom furniture’ – up 3,600%, ‘overhead bedroom furniture’ – up 1,650%, and ‘dark oak bedroom furniture’ – up 450%. Meanwhile, ‘next home’ and ‘childrens bedroom furniture for small rooms’, and ‘bedroom furniture shops near me’ all were high breakout searches. Other notable searches included ‘fully assembled bedroom furniture’ – up 190%, and ‘discount bedroom furniture’ – up 450%.
Dining furniture
Dining furniture searches recorded two days of peak activity with an index value over 90. The most searched date was 15 March, which scored a full 100. Popular related searches included ‘Oak Furnitureland’, ‘oak furniture sale’, ‘6 seater garden furniture’, ‘ikea garden furniture’, ‘small round dining table’, ‘next garden furniture’, and ‘cheap garden furniture’.
Living room furniture
Living room furniture saw three peak days during the month. The most searched day was 15 March that scored the full 100 score.
