Homesense UK sales edge closer to £290m

The UK division of retail group Homesense and TK Maxx has reported a growth in sales as profit remained strong.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 1 February 2025, total sales rose 3.3% to £4.1bn from £4bn in 2024.

Within its retail segment, Homesense sales increased 1.7% to £285.5m from £280.5m, while TK Maxx saw revenues rose 4% to £2.6bn from £2.5bn. Wholesale revenues increased from £1.1bn to £1.2bn.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £117.6m, down when compared to its profit of £120.7m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the group said: “The current year increase in comparable store sales can largely be attributed to an increase in conversion.”

Four Homesense stores were closed in the year, with the brand operating from 73 stores across the UK, with some co-located with TK Maxx.
