A new independent flooring and carpet business has opened in Carlisle.
Situated on Wigton Road, Luxe Flooring has been launched by Barry Blaylock and Jordan Russell with the shop officially opening on 10 January 2026.
Both owners bring experience in the trade. Barry has worked in flooring for over 16 years, under FLOORTEK, while Jordan previously ran JR Flooring.
The shop features carpets, LVT, vinyls, carpet tiles and commercial flooring.
Commenting on the launch, the company said: “What an incredible first day! We want to say a huge thank you to every single person who walked through our doors today. The support, kind words, and excitement have been truly overwhelming.
“Whether you popped in to show your support, came in shopping for new flooring, or spent time chatting with us about ideas and options, today wouldn’t have been the success it was without you.
