Independent furniture business Brook House Interiors has confirmed plans to close its showroom while opening a new studio instead.

Situated in Rotherfield Peppard, near Henley, the company will close its Furniture Barn store at the end of February following the conclusion of a closing sale.

The closure adds to its Henley showroom, based on Reading Road, shutting last year after 25 years of trade.

In addition, the company said it will open an appointment-only studio in Nuffield, six miles away, later this year.

A statement said: “Our big announcement! End of an era! We will be closing our Furniture Barn in Peppard at the end of February 2026.

“Good news! We will continue to sell bespoke, UK made, quality sofas and will be opening a studio in Nuffield in late Spring. The studio will be open by appointment.”
