Design and interior furnishings provider LOFT has reported an increase in sales and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2025, total sales rose 61% to £26.5m from £16.4m in 2024. This was over a longer 18-month period.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £136,000, improving from £1,400 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “These results are well-aligned with our projected expectations, driven primarily by an uptick in sales activities throughout London and the South, and growth in turnover through new service offerings, with our Interior Design services performing strongly in FY25.
“On a like-for-like 12 month basis, revenue is up 7.5% on the prior period. This revenue growth was predominantly driven by our Southern business, which experienced an exceptional year-on-year growth rate of 30%.
“In addition, the introduction of our Interior Design services, generated £1.92m of revenue in the period (£1.28m on a 12 month basis).
“Our gross margin percentage fell to 37.1%, down from 39.7% in the prior year. This fall in performance can be attributed to the weaker Pound Sterling at the start of the period and geopolitical challenges impacting our ability to bring in stock from the Far East. This resulted in a greater reliance on UK supply chains.”
