Independent furniture retailer McDermott’s House Furnishers has announced the opening of its second store.

Situated on Station Road in Ennis, Co. Clare, the new store officially opened on 19 September 2025 and takes over a former Madden Furniture premises.

Furthermore, the new location adds to its existing flagship store on Spencer Street in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, which has been established since the early 1990’s.

Commenting on the launch, the company said: “Come visit our brand-new Ennis showroom. Opening event offers available for a limited time. Sofas, dining tables & chairs, living room furniture, beds & bedroom furniture – everything you need to furnish your home in style.”
