The Irish manufacturing group behind the brands Gleneagle Furniture & Homelee Beds have taken delivery of its first new generation shape DAF XD rigid.

The truck, which has since gone on to win first place at the 2025 Irish truckers magazine awards held at the Johnston house hotel, is an 18 tonne, 310 horsepower truck that is fully equipped with extras to help accommodate all types of deliveries and empower driver comfort throughout the working week.  

“We are proudly celebrating 50 years of furniture and are very proud to have painted and branded the truck in our groups eye catching distinctive and modern livery,” the company said.

“This addition will further strengthen our logistics network, offering a faster solution for retailers and property professionals, while we deliver the best of Irish made beds, kitchens, bedrooms and interiors throughout Ireland & the UK.
