Kitchens and flooring supplier Finsahome has reported another year of flat sales.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023, total sales remained at £2.5m for a third straight year.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £181,000, slightly down from £212,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “2023 turnover remained broadly in line with 2022. The whole industry has been affected in 2023 by weak consumer demand driven by the cost of living crisis on the back of high consumer inflation and higher interest rates, which dented significantly family’s disposable income.
“As a result, demand for big tickets items fell and families postponed DIY, decoration and home improvement projects.
“Customer average spending decreased but the company managed to keep a stable turnover thanks to a successful new customer acquisition strategy.”
