Stated within its report, Pooky said: “Trading during 2024/25 was strong, with the business continuing to grow successfully, despite a tough market. The brand awareness continues to grow across the UK and beyond.
“During 2024/25 the group continued to upgrade its range of products that are made available to its customers. In addition, further investments were made in the web platform to support an improved customer experience.
“The group opened a second showroom in Gloucester, at its head office, to be able to showcase the brand’s product range and to provide a space for trade professionals to work on lighting. The group invested in its infrastructure with further investments in the extended warehouse facility at its Gloucester base.
“In November 2023 Pooky started to develop its presence in the US with its own website and warehouse facility. Initial reaction from the US customers, both trade and consumers, has been very positive with a strong appreciation of the Pooky products and price positioning.
“Sales started in February 2024 with an initial focus on the northeastern States and then in February 2025 expanded into the Texas/Oklahoma region. During 2024/25 the US operation moved into profit despite the high level marketing spend as the business invested in brand awareness.”
