Luxury mattress manufacturer delivers sales growth

Luxury mattress manufacturer Vispring has reported a growth in sales as margin remains static.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2025, total sales rose to £53.7m from £52.7m in 2024.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £21.4m, slightly down from £22.8m year-on-year.

Stated within its report, the company said revenue grew by just under 2% with exports outside of Europe growing by 1%. Export sales increased by 2% in the year. Gross Margin remained static at 57%.

“The worldwide trading environment remained challenging through 2025, especially in the context of inflationary pressures, trade wars, changing tariff landscapes, and ongoing high central bank base rates, which suppress housing market transactions.

“Moving home is often a trigger for furniture renewals and upgrades. Additionally, China – a key market for Vispring’s products – continued to suffer reduced demand for luxury goods due to uncertainty.”

UK sales represented £21.1m of turnover, up from £20.9m, while EU revenues stood at £15.6m, increasing from £15.1m. USA sales rose to £6.6m from £5.5m, while China revenue slipped from £5.8m to £4.9m. Sales for the rest of the world remained flat at £5.3m.
