Norwich-based department store retailer Jarrolds has confirmed plans to close its furniture shop in the city.

Situated on Bedford Street, The Granary furniture shop is expected to close next month, with the business launching its ‘biggest sale ever’ with products up to 50% off.

Furthermore, Jarrolds has announced that an independent operator will run the furniture department within its flagship store.

The business added that ‘a number’ jobs will be affected by the external store closure.
