Online retail group Buy It Direct Ltd, owner of Furniture123.co.uk, has reported a decline in sales while profit rose.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, total sales fell 2.2% to £324.6m from £332.1m in 2024.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £2.8m, improving from £1m year-on-year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “In a challenging consumer economy, the business has continued to trade profitably in the year and has put in place solid commercial and operational foundations for achieving future growth.”
