Peak Converters returns to the Furniture Component Expo

Leading foam and fibre converter Peak Converters is delighted to return to the Furniture Component Expo, which will be held on 11/12th March at Telford’s International Centre, building on a landmark year of innovation, investment, and industry recognition for the company.

With a rich heritage in supplying precision-cut foam and fibre components to the UK furniture industry, Peak Converters supports some of the country’s largest upholstery brands with reliable,  high-quality, short-lead-time production, supplying tens of thousands of components every week from small batch runs to large scale orders.

The company’s return to the Expo follows a standout 2025, during which it secured two industry awards, including the British Furniture Association’s (BFA) Excellence in Sustainability Award. Judges praised Peak Converters’ pioneering solar panel installation as a best-practice example of integrating renewable energy solutions into existing manufacturing operations.

The company’s commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability remain central to the business in 2026 with further investments planned to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability by reducing manufacturing waste.

Managing Director Mike Crowshaw explains: “Over the coming year, we’re making significant capital investments in new machinery and technology. Our focus is on optimising systems and processes to improve production consistency  – resulting in less waste, higher quality, easier repeat ordering, and fewer returns for our customers. Our return rate is already below 1%. Alongside this, we’re adopting AI within our process improvement initiatives to support efficiency gains and help move the business towards ISO 9001 certification.”

Customer service and supply chain collaboration continue also remain key priorities “ Our commitment to outstanding customer service remains unwavering,” Mike adds. “We’re working closely with our supply chain and key industry partners to ensure our customers have access to the most advanced and innovative range of foam and fibre solutions available. At the same time, we’re maintaining highly competitive lead times and building strong, long-term relationships through a customer-first approach in everything we do.”
