Retailer Urban Outfitters has issued a product recall on a number of sleepover roll mattresses due to fire safety concerns.
In a notice by the Office for Product Safety and Standards, the product recall is for the Urban Outfitters Sleepover Roll Mat.
The product, which originates from India, is described as a ‘portable mattress available in various colours’.
A statement said: “The product presents a high risk of fire because it was found that the outer cover fabric of the mattress failed the ‘match’ test. The mattress may ignite and cause a fire when near a source of ignition.
“The product does not meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.
“The product has been recalled from end users by Urban Outfitters and is no longer available for sale. Consumers are advised to cease use of this product immediately and keep it away from any ignition source.”
