Fitted kitchen and bedroom furniture business Starplan has reported a slight decline in sales but saw profits significantly improve.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 April 2025, total sales fell 1.2% to £16.4m from £16.6m in 2024.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £744,000, up from £52,000 recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, Starplan said: “The company directors are satisfied with the results for the year and the financial position at the year end.

“The directors are committed to long term creation of shareholder value by increasing market share through organic growth, including new branch openings, and will continue to invest in people, products and facilities in order to support this development.”
