Independent furniture retailer Scotts Furnishings has confirmed plans to close the Mammoth Comfort Centre in Burnham-On-Sea.

Currently holding a closing down sale, the Mammoth Comfort Centre is situated on Burnham’s High Street and will officially close for the final time on Saturday 6 December 2025.

The company said that the closure is part of a move to consolidate stock at its larger Scotts Furnishings store on Victoria Street.

The Mammoth Comfort Centre first opened in January 2024, with the property listed on the market during July this year.
