Independent furniture retailer Stollers has reported a decline in sales and profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2025, total sales fell 11.2% to £5.5m from £6.2m in 2024.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £228,000, down from £374,000 recorded in the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The year under review presented challenges, with increased costs and a competitive trading environment placing pressure on margins.
“Despite these conditions, the company maintained resilient performance through prudent cost management, careful stock control, and a continued focus on customer service.
“Investment in the showroom, online presence and sustainability initiatives has strengthened the business and positioned it well for future growth.”
