UK manufacturer of MDF wrapped mouldings and vinyl wrapped doors, Trade Mouldings, has reported a decline in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, total sales fell 10.7% to £15.8m from £17.7m in 2024.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.2m, down from £2.6m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company, which produces MDF wrapped profiles and PVC membrane pressed doors for the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and furniture markets, said: “Competition in the market place remains strong and effective cost control remains an area of focus for the company especially due to increased inflation.

“The directors consider the results for the year to be satisfactory given the current economic conditions. The company plans to continue its present activities and maintain its current trading levels.

“The directors will continue to seek every opportunity to increase both turnover and profitability where possible in the coming year.”
