Sales fall at motion furniture specialists

The group behind riser recliner and adjustable bed specialists Willowbrook and Ashley Anderson has reported a decline in turnover.

According to the latest filed accounts of Kingswood Mobility Group for the year ended 28 February 2025, total sales fell 18% to £34m from £41.5m in 2024.

EBITDA stood at £3.9m, down from £6.3m, while pre-tax losses resulted at £3.2m, widening from a loss of £2.1m recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the group said: “Our business has effectively managed the broader challenges of the macroeconomic market and a more cautious spending environment by focusing on delivering value, maintaining high-quality service, and exploring innovative solutions.

“We have identified opportunities to innovate and find creative ways to meet customer needs efficiently, positioning us well for sustained success in the future. Embracing these challenges has ultimately strengthened our competitive edge, enabling us to stay ahead in a dynamic industry landscape.”

Ashley Anderson generated total sales of £25m, down 17.7% from £30.4m, while pre-tax profit resulted at £4m, down from £6.4m.
