Sales fall below £200m at specialist furniture group

Office, hospitality, healthcare and home furniture manufacturer Senator has reported a decline in sales as turnover fell below £200m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales fell 5.8% to £190.1m from £202m in 2023.

UK sales fell to £131.9m from £140.3m, while EU revenues fell slightly to £5.4m from £5.7m. Sales outside the EU decreased to £52.7m from £56m.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £5.2m, down from its profit of £12.8m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “2025 has started well and the Directors remain confident of their strategy to continue to deliver sustainable long-term growth and profitability.”
