Sales grow across all divisions at flooring supplier

Carpet supplier Furlong Flooring has reported an uptick in overall turnover, as all four key divisions posted improved revenues.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025, total sales for Furlong Flooring Southern rose 5.8% to £30.9m from £29.2m in 2024. Pre-tax losses resulted at £3,000, narrowing from a loss of £512,000 recorded the previous year.

As for Furlong Flooring Central, sales rose 7.8% to £26m from £24.1m, while pre-tax losses stood at £1m, widening slightly from a loss of £985,000.

Within the Welsh division, sales increased 8.1% to £17.3m from £16m, while pre-tax losses resulted at £669,000, widening from a loss of £262,000 year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the Northern Irish manufacturing division, Regency Carpet, posted an increase in sales by 3% to £30m from £29m. Pre-tax profit resulted at £100,000, down from £219,000 in 2024.

Combined, sales reached £104.2m, up 6% from £98.3m the previous year.
