Sales improve at furniture importer; losses widen

Furniture import business Coach House has reported an uptick in sales as turnover rose beyond £50m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2025, total sales rose 4% to £51.9m from £49.9m in 2024.

Pre-tax losses resulted at £7.2m, widening from a loss £93,000 recorded in the previous year.

UK sales were up to £46.7m from £44.1m, while EU sales were also down to £4m from £4.6m. Outside the EU, revenues rose to £1.2m from £1.1m.

Stated within its report, the company said that gross profit margin was maintained at 37.7%.
