Carpet and flooring retailer Tapi Carpets & Floors has announced its latest store opening in Bedford, on the site of former Carpetright store.

In July 2024, Tapi Carpets & Floors bought Carpetright when the company went into administration, which included taking over 54 stores from the retailer across the region. 

The new store is located at St Johns Retail Park, Rope Walk, Bedford, and opened on 14 February 2026, adding to its portfolio of more than 210 Tapi stores.
