Premium sleep brand TEMPUR® has continued its commitment to supporting Zarach – the charity dedicated to ending bed poverty amongst children in England.
Just over a year into its partnership with the bed poverty charity, TEMPUR® has donated £10,000 towards Zarach’s festive “Big Give” event, part of the national initiative which ran for a week following Giving Tuesday (2 December).
With match funding from TEMPUR® and two other businesses for every pound given, Zarach’s festive “Big Give” event will enable the delivery of well over 400 beds and bed bundles, lifting children out of bed poverty this Christmas.
With almost 900,000 children across the UK affected by bed poverty, Zarach delivers brand new mattresses, pillows and bedding to families in need around the UK as part of its mission to guarantee that every child in England has a bed of their own.
Bed poverty can cause exhaustion and increased susceptibility to illness, affecting a child’s education. Through the provision of critical products to aid sleep, the charity works to ensure that every child has the best chance of benefitting from quality rest to support learning and performance both in and out of school.
