Sustainable carpet tiles manufacturer Shaw Europe has reported a growth in turnover and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales rose 3.2% to £37.8m from £36.6m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £707,000, improving from £409,000 recorded the previous year.

UK sales increased from £24m to £24.7m, while rest of the world revenues rose to £13.1m from £12.5m.

Stated within its report, the company said: “Production volumes of carpet tiles at the Scottish facility increased by 5.77% during the year, accompanied by a reduction in finished products imported from manufacturing sites in the USA.

“UK sales for the Shaw Contract brand grew by £2.6m, supported by a skilled and experienced direct sales team and the launch of new carpet tile and Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) ranges. Conversely, sales in the Middle East and Africa declined by £1.8m during 2024.”
