Wayfair UK and Leicester Tigers announce new partnership

Home furnishings retailer Wayfair.co.uk has announced a new partnership with Leicester Tigers, becoming the club’s official Home Furniture and Décor Partner from the 2026–27 season.

Founded in 1880, Leicester Tigers are one of the most successful and historic rugby union clubs in England. Renowned for their passionate fanbase, strong academy system and long-standing tradition of developing international players, the club boasts an unrivalled heritage within the sport.

As part of the agreement, Wayfair.co.uk branding will feature on the back of players’ matchday shorts across Home, Away and European competitions; alongside a wider partnership spanning stadium spaces, player access, engagement and content creation initiatives.

The collaboration will also see Wayfair furnish a brand-new Leicester Tigers podcast studio, as the club launches their first foray into podcasting.

The new Leicester Tigers podcast studio will become a hub for exclusive player interviews, behind-the-scenes content and fan-focused programming, with further details set to be announced in the coming months.

Wayfair.co.uk is the destination for all things home – helping everyone, anywhere create their feeling of home. With something to suit every room, style and budget – inside and out – it gives everyone the power to create spaces that are just right for them.

The partnership will include significant matchday visibility and media presence throughout the season, with a focus on delivering engaging experiences for supporters on and off the pitch.

Leicester Tigers CEO, Andrea Pinchen, commented: “I’m delighted that Wayfair UK will be joining us from next season as our Home Furniture and Decor Partner. At Leicester Tigers we are always looking for new partners who match our ambition and values and I can’t wait to see what this partnership produces.”

First team player, Emeka Ilione, said: “I’m really excited to work on a big project with Wayfair. This partnership brings a lot of exciting opportunities – especially around the new podcast and stadium spaces – watch this space!”

Wayfair UK’s Head of Creative, Mike Pearson commented: “Working with Tigers is a great way to bring the Wayfair brand close to a huge and important audience – and what’s more, one we play a relevant role for by providing the best seats in your house to watch the game (when you can’t be at the Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium of course!) It’s also a great chance to work with the Tigers club and players to highlight some of the tremendous work the Wayfair UK team has been doing, such as the recent launch of our new loyalty programme, ‘Wayfair Rewards’ and our growing ‘Wayfair Verified’ selection. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead for the 2026-27 season and beyond.”

Wayfair UK’s General Manager, William Merricks, said: “Leicester Tigers is one of the most historic clubs in Rugby Union and we’re delighted to announce our partnership with them. The launch of the club’s new podcast offered a unique opportunity for Wayfair to help create a modern and engaging content space for players and guests, as they move into a new era of connecting with fans and the wider Tigers community. We’re excited to bring the Wayfair brand to life in new and engaging ways – both inside the stadium and beyond.”

Further partnership announcements and activations will be revealed ahead of the 2026–27 season.
